FAQ

Reserving a Rental
We rent on a first come, first serve basis.  In order to secure a rental for a date, a rental contract must be signed and returned, and the rental paid in full.  There are no refunds for cancellations, but on a case by case basis, we may be able to apply part of your rental fee to a future rental.

Deposits
Depending on a renter's credit, rental history, and insurance, a deposit may be required to rent gear.  Usually a minimum deposit of $500 is required for most camera rentals.

Rental Dates
For shipped rentals, the rental period starts the day after the rental arrives via its carrier (usually UPS).  On the last day of the rental, the rental must be returned to the carrier (again usually UPS), before their last pickup that day.  So if it's a two day rental starting on a Wednesday, the gear would arrive sometime on Tuesday, and it would have to be dropped off at a carrier (UPS) before their last pickup on Thursday.

For local rentals, the gear must be turned in the day after the last rental day before 10am.  We can usually but not always allow for pickup the day before the first day of the rental.  In which case for a one day rental on a Wednesday, the gear can be picked up Tuesday afternoon, and would then need to be returned on Thursday before 10am.

Business Hours
Our normal business hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, however we work by appointment only, and can often times work with you to allow for pickup on weekend and other hours.

Shipping
Shipping costs vary depending on what is rented.  In we're able to accommodate your rental dates via ground shipping, that is our preferred method as it's the cheapest.  In this case, shipping for video cameras is typically $30 each way.
