From Cleveland to LA: Rosie Sirk Discusses Independent Filmmaking, Creativity, and The Burning Question

Cleveland-raised, LA-based filmmaker Rosie Sirk is building her career through passion, creativity, and hands-on experience. With a background from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a role at Old Fast Glass, she continues to refine her voice as a director and cinematographer. Her latest project, The Burning Question, reflects her love of dark, emotional storytelling and her commitment to creating meaningful, independent work.

Submissions NOW OPEN for the Cleveland Indie Film Incubator Project 2025!

Calling all professional and aspiring filmmakers who have a story to tell! Now is your chance to submit for the 2025 Cleveland Indie Film Incubator Project! This year, we are requesting that filmmakers submit a script or outline of a short film idea as well as a video pitch featuring themselves pitching the concept. If selected, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other filmmakers and receive equipment rental credit. There will be 6 total selected participants.
